Peaberry Coffee

Peaberry coffee has finally reached its deserved popularity in the world of specialty coffee. When harvesting coffee cherries, 5% of cherries will only contain one bean, whereas all other cherries contain two. Coffee cherries containing just one bean are referred to as Peaberries. Peaberry beans are much smaller in size and twice as robust in flavor. Because the seed inside the cherry is much smaller, the acidity is also higher then in regular Arabica beans. Keep in mind the nature of the peaberry, it’s smaller and has a higher concentration of flavor. Expect your favorite coffees, in Peaberry form, to be a tantalizing experience.
